Herramienta HEEVI

SOY SUSTENTABLE / HEEVI

La herramienta de Evaluación del Entorno de la Vivienda (HEEVI) está orientada a mitigar los problemas medioambientales generados por el crecimiento urbano.

Aplicando innovadores procesos de medición, evalúa el empleo, transporte y equipamiento existente alrededor de un desarrollo habitacional, entre otros criterios, y le asigna una calificación de 0 a 100 puntos. Muestra también una estimación de las emisiones anuales de gases de efecto invernadero (GEI) relacionadas con el transporte de los habitantes de una vivienda en esa ubicación y de su gasto económico anual al respecto.

Desde 2017, la HEEVI es utilizada como criterio de aceptación para los programas de vivienda sustentable de la Sociedad Hipotecaria Federal, principalmente el programa EcoCasa.
